We’re lucky to be tasked with bringing the beer to Thanksgiving every year. This year, we asked CC employees which bottles they plan to share at the festivities and why. Here are their picks. (And here’s more info about our holiday delivery schedule.)
Kent Falls Coffeemaker
“I’m excited to introduce Coffeemaker to my hophead brother-in-laws. This Brett IPA from Kent Falls is blended with a rotating light roast from local coffee houses near where I grew up in CT. It has a bright, more expressive flavor versus traditional bitterness thanks to the hops + coffee combo.” – Emily
Plan Bee Barn Beer
“I’m bringing this wild ale to my Thanksgiving table… Plan Bee’s Barn Beer is oak aged, tart, lemony, piney and delicious. The tartness will be the perfect counterpoint to all of the rich Thanksgiving foods.” – Adam
Snowdrift Ciders
“I’m bringing Snowdrift’s red cider and barrel aged cornice cider. I’m looking forward to a refreshing departure from our traditional red and whites and pleasing the palates of everyone at the table, including my gluten free fam.” – Jess
TRVE Brewing Ostara
“I spent some time with the TRVE crew in Denver a few weeks ago, which makes me even more pumped to dole out small pours from this rare bottle. Ostara is a mixed culture golden ale with dandelion, lemongrass, and lemon peel. Bright, light, and flavorful.” – Bryan
Honest Weight World Passport
“Honest Weight collab’d with Enlightenment Ales to bring us World Passport, a dry, floral beer inspired by the dry and hoppy beers of Brussels. It’s simple, light, crisp and delicious. Brussels beer + brussel sprouts = perfect Thanksgiving.” – Pat
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Craft Collective.
