In the (ware)house: Le Tigre, Foreign Objects and the last of Oktoberfest
The newest addition to the Prospect Ciderworks lineup is Le Tigre (5.8% ABV), a semi-dry cider made with real lemongrass and fresh ginger. This Untappd review sums it up: It has a “light spice nice for the season.”
Foreign Objects brings us the heat once again with its subtle, earthy and unquestionably drinkable German ungespundet lagers (unfiltered, with soft carbonation and incredibly complex flavors): Die Deutscher Haltung Ungespundet Keller Pils (4.8% ABV) with German hops (Mittelfruh and Strisselspalt) and Eine Nächtliche Halluzination (5.2% ABV).
It’s almost time to say auf Wiedersehen to Oktoberfest beers. We have a limited number of Oktoberfests still in stock, including Aeronaut Oktoberfest, Banded Oktoberfest, Bunker’s Bunktoberfest, Four Quarters Festbier, Relic Oktoberfest (and Shaidzon and Rising Tide for our RI customers).
Speaking of our favorite time of the year… Join us on October 7 from 11-4 at the SoWa Beer Barn for SoWa x Craft Collective Oktoberfest! We’ll have a special lineup featuring our favorite fall and German style beers and, of course, a variety of Oktoberfests. Plus, German music, food, and a stein-hoisting competition and pop up hosted by our good friends at Schilling Beer Co. Learn more about the event and purchase your stein and entry into the stein-hoisting comp here.
