We are seeking a highly motivated craft beer enthusiast to join our team as a sales representative in Western Massachusetts. You will work alongside our founders to continue to build this rapidly growing company. A successful candidate in this role will have the opportunity to significantly expand his or her responsibilities as the company grows.
Responsibilities include: maintaining relationships with new and existing on-premise and off-premise retail customers, soliciting orders, ensuring proper stock rotation, achieving a high level of customer service; scheduling and execution of promotional events; attending beer industry events and festivals to represent Craft Collective and/or our brewery partners.
DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
Maintain a strong relationship with existing customers. Develop new account relationships. Demonstrate knowledge of our product portfolio to beer buyers and employees of retail accounts that we serve. Successfully sell and ensure placement of Craft Collective products. Handle customer inquiries. Organize and execute floor displays. Respect the beer — treat all product you handle as if it were beer you would be drinking. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Follow Craft Collective’s Code of Conduct.
Work schedule is full-time, generally 9-5PM M-F, with work necessary on some nights and weekends. Craft beer sales can be a round-the-clock job. Please be comfortable with that.
PREREQUISITES
College Degree. Industry experience in this market STRONGLY preferred but not necessary. Good general beer knowledge a must. Must be highly motivated. Must be a good problem solver. Must be a self-starter. Access to a vehicle that you are willing to use for business purposes. Must live in or very close to the described territory. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs consisting of cases and kegs.
